Yes. You need to be a registered member of ZIM to sit for exams, either as a Student Member or an Associate Member.

Associate Membership is K1,560 per year, with a K250 application fee. Student Membership is K188 per year, also with a K250 application fee.

No. The Diploma in Marketing has three stages and you must complete them from the first to the last — Certificate L3, then Certificate L4, then Diploma L6.

Yes. You need 3 O-Levels including English Language, be 25 years or older, and currently working.

Yes, as long as the number of pending subjects from Level 3 does not exceed three.

It can be, if you wish. It is usually best to complete it once you have finished the other subjects — discuss the timing with your supervisor.

No. The Post Graduate Diploma requires a university degree in any field — it was designed for graduates moving into marketing.

All lessons are presented online. Special in-person arrangements can be made on request. Lesson times vary — morning, afternoon or evening — and are agreed directly with your tutor.

No, exams are not online — you sit physically at a registered exam center. Results, however, are released and accessible online.

It varies by center, typically between K200 and K600. As of June 2026, NIPA charged K200 and Evelyn Hone charged K300 — confirm directly with your chosen center.

It is recommended to pay once your exam docket is available. Center fees are paid every time you use a center, directly to that center.

Yes, on a case-by-case basis, for a programme completed within the last 5 years. Applications must be in writing with certified transcripts (and sometimes a syllabus). There are no exemptions for the Post Graduate Diploma. All exemptions are at ZIM's discretion.

ZIM members may qualify for a membership discount on lesson fees. The exact amount depends on your membership type and the subjects selected — your tutor confirms the final discount when reviewing your application.

Enter it in the "Have a promo / group code?" field on the Apply page or the Fee Calculator. The system will validate it and apply the discount automatically if it is active and applicable to your subjects.

No — only the single largest discount is applied. If your promo code gives a bigger discount than your membership discount, the code wins, and vice versa. Discounts do not stack.

No. Exam fees are fixed by ZIM and are never discounted. Only lesson (tuition) fees charged by Captain 37 can be discounted.

No. The dissertation and research project are fixed-price assessments and are excluded from all discounts, promo codes, and membership reductions.

If you refer someone to Captain 37 and they enrol and pay, you earn referral credit that can be used towards your own lesson fees. Credit is applied at the time of your next approved application. It is not exchangeable for cash.

Your tutor reviews the application by hand — checking your subjects, membership number, and any promo code — and sends you a WhatsApp message within 24–48 hours. The message will include a link to your status page showing the confirmed fee and payment details.

A payment deadline is set at the time of approval — usually 24 hours. You can see the exact deadline on your status page. If payment is not confirmed before the deadline, the application is marked Elapsed and you will need to reapply.

Yes. Use the Revision Sessions option on the programme page. Standard discounts, promo codes, and referral credit do not apply to revision session fees.
